We Have An Experienced Team of Party Providers!

My name is Shannon Decker. The proud new owner of Patti’s Party World, in Rio Grande, NJ. It is such an honor to be part of carrying on the legacy of the store.  I’ve been wanting to do something special For quite some time in memory of my daughter Lilyana whom in 2015, I lost at the tender age of five years old to a very rare, but very sudden disease process called bacterial meningitis. Earlier this year, I started a small business in Lilyana’s honor offering princess pop parties with my own twist on the Bippity Boppity Boutique because Lilyana loved Disney World. Watching her experience the Bippity Boppity Boutique in Disney was so overwhelmingly heartwarming to see how happy it made her and how special it felt, for both her and I, as her mommy. I’ll never forget the happiness we both felt so, I wanted to bring something home that made people feel and experience that same Disney magic and the happiness that it gives you. I’ve since added on the option of a pirate makeover boutique for boy and or girl pirate lovers. 

When Pattis Party World was offered to me by my very dear and close friends that are like family to me, it was just another sign to me that Liliana’s spirit was still around and this was a perfect opportunity for me to continue to do something more in her name. Since purchasing the store, I’ve fallen in love with every aspect of it. Every day that I go there, I learn something new to add to my creative, artistic technique. Doing these parties and doing these balloon arrangements and everything associated with the store truly warms my heart. Every time something beautiful comes out of the store, I think about how this is in honor of my beautiful daughter. Now I have something to carry on her legacy and to eventually pass onto my children and my family.  I have a background in insurance and nursing. I worked at both privately owned insurance agencies and several local nursing homes as an LPN for 13 years total. I love to serve people and I enjoy serving this community just as they helped me when I was at my worst. When my daughter first passed, a benefit was coordinated by a member of the former Pattis Party World team. Both them and several members of our community were so invested in my benefit. Collectively, they did so many things that I could never repay them for it all. I want to give that same kindness back to our community and to our small businesses. I have big plans for Patty’s Party World. I plan to bring a new school touch to the old school store while also keeping the old school stuff that you all love about Pattis Party World. I can’t wait to continue on this adventure and I hope to make everyone in the community happy.

My ultimate goal is that every time someone picks up a balloon arrangement from our store, it makes them smile! I genuinely care about your parties in hopes that the turn out is as beautiful as the arrangements!!! I find myself so invested in all of the parties that we made these arrangements for, hoping that there’s not too much wind or that the clients are happy with our work. I genuinely care about my customers. I can’t wait to continue this new venture with our community in mind. I hope that this new venture in my life will gain respect in the community and build new relationships both personal and business.
